Can you believe that in the days of insecurity I used to believe that this face wasn’t fine 😳 Honestly giving me a compliment was hard work and at some point in my 20s I could only accept that ok maybe I’m pretty but beautiful 😧 Nah that wasn’t me. BUT we thank God for growth!! ⠀ ⠀ The features of my face that I used to hate such as my smile lines and lips are what I look at and thank God for! Make up or no make up I know my beauty isn’t solely based on what people see. We’ve all experienced the “glow up” but nonetheless take pride in who you are & what you look like in its ENTIRETY. Because someone will always be “prettier” but there is only one YOU 😉😍

1st Jan 2019 - still me⠀ ⠀ I’m still me but slightly modified, I have the lessons of 2018 and I’m moving forward. I’m moving towards being more of who I am & who God has called me do be. ⠀ ⠀ This year I will trust and obey God’s process over my small plans 🙏🏾⠀ ⠀ This year I will smile more (the teeth showing type of smile) 😁⠀ ⠀ This year I will show more love to those I love & even to those who I don’t love so much (I’m flawed in my humanity but God calls us to show love to ALL) 🤷🏾‍♀️❤️ ⠀ ⠀ This year is the year of endless opportunities therefore I have to make room for more, certain things can no longer occupy space & time in my life. Ultimately I’m moving towards the place that God has made just for me 😌🙏🏾❤️⠀ ⠀ Happy New Year - Make it Count, 2020 is around the corner 😉

31st Dec 2018 - beginnings ⠀ ⠀ 2018 has been a year that I expected more in certain areas and didn’t see an inch of movement (well in the physical realm at least) but it was also the year that I was promoted without being interviewed💅🏾 🙌🏾🙏🏾 ⠀ ⠀ It’s very easy to sit and dwell on all the things not achieved in the space of 12 months that you easily forget the laughter and joy experienced in the everyday moments. ⠀ ⠀ As I reflect on this year, here are a few things that I’ll be developing on in 2019: ⠀ ⠀ * intimacy with God⠀ * spiritual knowledge ⠀ * more acts of kindness⠀ * more diligence in my finances ⠀ * privacy - only a select few⠀ * opening old wounds via counselling⠀ ⠀ And ultimately being more fearless in this game called life. I know who my father is and therefore the only outcome is for me to WIN. #royalty 👑❤️
