Hi, I am Ms Tomilola (pronounced; Toe-me-lo-la) and I am a Lifestyle Blogger and Writer.
I write in order to transform your thinking and impact your living, so that you can live lives filled with Love, Joy and Peace. I believe that we should all build our lives according to our purpose, and I am committed to helping you discover what exactly your purpose is. As a passionate Life Coach and Mentor in training I write for women and young people who are aren’t scared of change and who are ready to embrace the beauty of the unknown.
I am a twenty-something year old woman who uses her life experiences to remind you that you are not alone in the struggles of life. Whilst life can appear to be a difficult thing to master, here I am to hold your hand and to walk with you on a journey to creating the life that you will love.
Expect to read real and honest words, as I believe that my life must be a testimony and with that my story must be told. There comes a sigh of relief when our stories are told, there is secret power in the art of letting go and looking forward towards bright new beginnings.
To some I’m a sister, daughter, niece, cousin, friend, however to other’s I’m a stranger. I’m still trying to decide on who the multi-faceted Ms Tomilola is but at present she is a 28 year old woman who has the following letters after her name, BSc (Hons), MSc, PgDip and who ultimately desires to end it with a PhD. Nonetheless, these letters don’t really tell you much about me except that I am an educated young lady.
What you may be more interested in is that I am a proud British Nigerian who likes reading and watching movies (especially Nollywood). I’m at times known to be a social butterfly and other times I’m quite content being a lone solider. Music with good lyrics minsters to my soul like no other and I have a love for travelling and wish to see the beautiful wonders of this world. I LOVE food and really enjoying cooking and baking, which is the reason I struggle to loose weight (I’m working on it). I am a natural hair enthusiast who often changes her choice of hairstyle (wigs are my best friends). I’m also a girly girl who loves all things beauty, whilst always remembering that “charm is deceptive, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised”- Proverbs 31:30 (ESV). In a society that promotes beauty in the most superficial form, we must cultivate a generation of men and women who appreciate beauty that shines from within.
Ultimately I’m just a girl who is finally accepting her imperfection as perfection.
